dID YOU KNOW THAT....

Ghana has one of the highest maternal mortality rates in Africa with about 308 deaths per 100,000 live births. Postpartum hemorrhage accounts for 24% of maternal deaths in Ghana (GSS) and the risk is greater for women living in rural areas. Major causes of maternal mortality are the lack of access to skilled healthcare providers, illiteracy, and the lack of access to healthcare facilities

OKB Hope foundation is committed to improving the lives of the underserved population

OKB  is committed to addressing this challenge by taking healthcare to these people via mobile clinic. Furthermore, we plan to increase accessibility to healthcare by hardwiring the use of telemedicine in the current healthcare system. Lastly, we empower people to advocate for their own health through education and modification of their lifestyle choices.
